Race teams are always looking for a competitive edge. Susie Wolff, Team Principal on the Venturi Formula E team, provides insights in an interview from HPE Discover about how artificial intelligence played a role in their first place finish.

Venturi has a long history of racing, including entries in Le Mans and a sixth place finish in the 1992 Monaco Grand Prix. After some financial struggles, Venturi was purchased by Gildo Pastor in 2000. Pastor shifted the company focus to high-performance electric vehicles, including providing motors to the French PSA Group. The Venturi Group holds a number of world speed records with vehicles on both two and four wheels.
